Kentucky Simulation Alliance History
About The Kentucky Simulation Alliance
The Kentucky Simulation Alliance (KSA) held its very first meeting in January of 2016 with a small group of individuals who wanted to share best practices for simulation in and around the Commonwealth of Kentucky. As the alliance grew in numbers the members decided they would like for the KSA to become a formal group with the intent of growing membership and reaching more individuals who are engaged in simulation.

In January of 2019 a small group of five individuals started meeting regularly to make the KSA a non-profit in the state of Kentucky and to work on the by-laws that would govern the KSA. The group consisted of Jennifer Dent, Brooke Vaughn, Hope Jones, Shannon Allen, and Ryan Pratt. On January 10, 2020 the group held its first board of directors meeting and the KSA was officially formed.
